DEVELOPMENT (FUNDRAISING) ASSOCIATE
Seniors Resource Center (SRC) is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated Development (Fundraising) Associate to support the day-to-day activities of the Development Department, with a focus on donor relations, support duties, events and meetings. The Development Associate is organized, tech-savvy, detail-driven, and comfortable working across the organization and the community.
General responsibilities include supporting and assisting the Director of Development and the fundraising team to develop and maintain positive relationships with donors and the community, managing correspondence, inputting, tracking, analyzing, and providing reports of customer relationship management (CRM) data and fundraising metrics, scheduling and preparing for meetings, assisting with organization of events, and producing external communications.

Location: Wheat Ridge-based with occasional travel to meetings and partner sites
Job Type: Full time (M-F) Days 40 hours
Starting Pay Range: $25 per hour

Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ownership and deliverables by self-reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and clarity before submission, resulting in minimal revisions.
- Provide day-to-day support for the Development department, including scheduling internal and external meetings and events.
- Produce high quality communications and collateral with minimum edits needed.
- Manage donor reporting, including data entry (DonorPerfect, GiveLively), and generate donor acknowledgement letters.
- Provide support for the Development team as needed, including preparing Board meeting materials, meeting set-up, notetaking and follow up, and managing the board portal.
- Support detailed production of donor engagement events and organizational outreach, including representing SRC at community events.
- Support donor prospect research and special projects related to donor development.
- Maintain CRM data integrity and quality by overseeing routine cleanup, tracking issues, and ensuring consistent use of data standards.
- Provide as-needed support for organization-wide event planning and execution.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of documented professional experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Experience in a nonprofit, preferably one providing direct service
- At least two years' experience with administrative responsibilities, meeting or event coordination, and/or gifts management
- Strong technology skills, including experience with a range of databases and software, including CRM systems, Zoom, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with design and communication software (i.e. Canva, Adobe, Constant Contact, etc.) and ability to create appealing and effective materials
- Experience with project management and ability to track multiple work streams and competing priorities under deadline
- Experience providing excellent customer service to external and internal stakeholders
- Self-starter and team player who takes direction and feedback well, can successfully work collaboratively, independently, and proactively
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing clear, accurate reports and written communications and ensuring consistency and quality across deliverables
- Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events and meetings
- Experience with development operations and administration - strongly preferred
- Commitment to and strong interest in serving older adults - strongly preferred
Work Environment and Schedule:
- Position is primarily in-person during training.
- Hyrbrid work may be available based on performance, demonstrated knowledge of the role, and business needs.
