HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Seniors Resource Center (SRC) is dedicated to enhancing the independence, dignity, and quality of life of older adults throughout the Metro Denver area and surrounding communities. From in-home care to adult day programs, SRC delivers meaningful support and life-enriching experiences for older adults and their caregivers, helping individuals remain independent and engaged as they age.
Job Summary:
SRC is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate HR professional to join our team and lead day-to-day human resources and people operations, including effectively onboarding and outboarding staff, identifying and implementing HR best practices to support staff throughout their tenure, managing HR compliance and reporting requirements, advising senior staff on HR matters, and fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
This is a full-time position working M-F days.

Location: Seniors Resource Center, 3227 Chase St, Wheat Ridge, CO 80212
Job Type: Full time (M-F) Days 40 hours per week
Starting Pay: $70,000 – $75,000 annually

Essential Functions:
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and guide resolutions of any issues that arise
- Manage recruiting and staffing logistics
- Effectively onboard all new employees
- Facilitate off boarding and exit interviews
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration
- Supervise open enrollment process
- Complete and prepare all regulatory questionnaires, reports and surveys related to HR
- Implement and administer employee policies
- Maintain and update Employee Handbook as needed
- Offer active policy development and identify ways to improve policies and procedures
- Oversee performance evaluation process, goal setting, and all-staff trainings
Required Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, dedication to nonprofit service, and comfortable with change
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to customer service and desire to problem-solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to act with integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability and desire to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Smartphone and ability to use mobile technology
- HRIS experience and ability to train and support others on use
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and leave regualtions
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist supporting multiple areas of HR, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and offboarding
Work Environment and Schedule:
- Position is primarily in-person during training.
- Hyrbrid work may be available based on performance, demonstrated knowledge of the role, and business needs.
