Chandra Matthews has spent her career as a dedicated advocate for older adults and individuals with disabilities. With nearly 30 years of experience in aging services, she has developed and led high-impact programs across nonprofit, philanthropic, and healthcare settings; always remaining grounded in the belief that people deserve to age with dignity, respect, and strong connections to their community.
Chandra brings deep expertise in program development, team leadership, strategic planning, and systems change. Her career has centered on creating innovative, person-centered solutions that improve quality of life while expanding access to care and support. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, her ability to build meaningful partnerships, and her commitment to equity and accountability.
In addition to her professional work, Chandra serves on the boards of the Colorado Office of Public Guardianship and AARP Colorado’s Executive Council, contributing her voice to statewide policy and advocacy efforts.
